Kenny King vs Dagon Briggs vs Naphtali vs Jerrelle Clark vs Legion Cage
In a five way elimination bout, Kenny King defeated Naphtali, Dagon Briggs (w/ Seven), Jerrelle Clark, and Legion Cage (w/o Gina Marie). This was another contest that was quite good. There was high flying galore and at one point all five guys had a submission on one of their competitors. The order I have the guys listed is how they were eliminated. For example, Cage was the first guy that was pinned, and so on and so forth. Kenny was able to beat both members of the Wrongful Death team on his own, including kicking out of Naphtali’s “DVD onto a (Rage in the Cage 2005) DVD” Unfortunately some people are still not able to come to terms with me not “being on the Kenny King bandwagon” right away, but hey I’d rather spend time evaluating talent rather than blindly following them and follow the herd when it comes to opinion; why is that so hard to understand? That being said, I’m seeing more and more why Kenny is becoming popular. He interacted with the crowd well and they cheered him on.

Fast and Furious vs Brian Danielson and BJ Whitmer
Fast and Furious defeated Bryan Danielson-B.J. Whitmer (w/ Dave Prazak-Mr. Milo Beasley). Jay and Jerrelle got the crowd fired up, while the crowd just hated D.P. Associates. Danielson is so hammy (and yet so good) in FIP, I love it. Getting to see him swivel his hips and strut around… hilarity. I really need to go to bed now, so I'll just cut to the chase and say that Fury got the pin on Bryan, and challenged him for the next show in Crystal River (in early April).

Fast and Furious vs. Tony Mamaluke and Chad Parham
The Fast and Furious defeated Tony Mamaluke-Chad Parham. This was a good bout that ended up being more heated and intense than I expected. Tony and Chad were heeling it up, and this was my first chance to see the former Gabriel. I noticed a pic on his website where he looked to be thinly built, but in person he looked better built. Chad looks to be talented, and did some amusing thing as a bad guy. Clark and Fury started out by doing some double teams, but soon it was Jerrelle who had his armed worked over. After some more double teams Fast and Furious was able to pin Mr. Parham.

Jerrelle Clark vs. Kenny King
Kenny King defeated Jerrelle Clark. This was another good contest, and was given quite a bit of time. In a rare moment for Jerrelle, he played the nefarious bad guy, and did things like constant eyepokes and biting Kenny's fingers. He was actually entertaining as a heel. Kenny looked fine here, and I don't really have any complaints about him; he even did some sweet things, like a nice legsweep to counter one of Clark's kicks. Jerrelle tried to cheat to win, but he experienced his comeuppance as the ref saw the cheating, and King was able to counter into a rollup and that's how he got the victory. Afterwards Bruce came out and attacked Kenny, due to how he and not Bruce is being desired by both WWE and TNA. They'll fight at the next AWF event next weekend.
King finally had a counter for Jerrelle's constant eye pokes. No, it wasn't the "Moe Howard block", as Jerrelle used one finger instead of two. No, Kenny just used his hands to prevent the poke, and powered Jerrelle's hand away. I really enjoyed that moment of the match.

Jerrelle Clark vs. Jimmy Yang vs. Jason Blade vs. Azriel
Four Corner Survival: Jimmy Yang, Jerelle Clark, Jason Blade, and Azriel. I thought this was a pretty good high flying match. Jerelle Clark was spectacular...I can't believe TNA can't find a spot for him in the X division. Blade looked really good as well. But as with most of the matches, there was really no drama as to who the winner would be. Yang hits Yang time on Clark for the win and slips on the ropes doing his post match celebration.
